The 2018 tour kicks off!

Junior Star Singer Songwriter's Radio Tour 2018 kicked off on Saturday 14th April, to a great start as main presenter Amanda Neale took to the road again but for the first time to Lincoln.  Accompanied by co-presenter Rachael Summers, artists Teide Bryce and Scott Thornhill who are touring this year, they set off very early to reach the beautiful city of Lincoln.

Well known for being a cathedral city and set in enigmatic surroundings, Lincoln is home to the university of Lincoln, Lincoln City Football club, and with history stretching back to the iron age.  The Junior Star Singer team were able to take a bit of a breather and grab some fresh air by the canal.  Check out video footage of Teide Bryce as well singing an Ed Sheeran cover which can be seen on her you tube channel.

The Junior Star Singer team were joined by Malcolm Thompson and his crew from Lincoln City Radio as they welcomed contestants Jocelyn Scott and Jasmine Machell to sing live on the radio show at 12 Oclock.  Catch some of the footage here.  Jocelyn is studying musical theatre and hoping to qualify in a couple of years time.  Jasmine is a previous contestant who loves the competition and wanted to enter again this year.  Well done ladies!  Good luck in the competition.
